Art for climate education and adaptation
Rising Waters was invited to install on the Peace Boat in New York City for World Oceans Day 2019. Since the event was on the 8th deck, we showed sea level rise predictions for the ground location of the boat’s docking.
Climate Creatives is a member of the Small Island Developing States Global Business Network (SIDS-GBN), and the planning committee for World Oceans Day/Week 2020.
Photographs from Guna Yala (San Blas, Panama) were exhibited at the United Nations Oceans Conference in 2017, hosted by the UN Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and the Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS).
